A sports-nutrition brand reviewed fifty markets, re-ranked the ones it was already in, and built the plan to triple international sales in five years.

September 2026

An emerging sports-nutrition brand set a goal of tripling revenue outside its home market within five years. ATM ran a global review of more than fifty markets across Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, sized the opportunity in each key segment, chose the portfolio and price position, built the three-year P&L, assessed what the organisation itself would need, and then matched distributors to new markets while testing whether existing partners could grow.

Where the brand was.

The brand was already international and already growing. The question was not whether to expand but where the next three years of growth should come from: new markets, the markets it was already in, or both - and what the company would have to look like to deliver it without outside capital.

What ATM did, in order.

StepWhat ATM did
DecideMore than fifty markets reviewed on sports-nutrition segment size and growth outlook, to establish each market's potential and the brand's revenue opportunity over three years. A preferred portfolio to target international growth.
ValidateA clear pricing position and the investment required to deliver a three-year P&L. An assessment of the cross-functional capability - in-market and at headquarters - needed to support a self-funded roll-out.
AppointPreferred distribution partners identified and introduced in new markets. Existing-market partners evaluated for "expansion to grow" capability against the brand's growth aspiration.

What changed.

A five-year international plan with named priority markets, a portfolio and price position, a three-year P&L the board could fund, an organisation design to deliver it, and partners in place - new where needed, re-confirmed or replaced where not.
